Role: Production Team Leader     Location: Leeds     Email: HR

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Team Leader with a manufacturing background to join a successful business in the Leeds area. You will be responsible for assisting our Production Manager in overseeing a team of operatives to ensure production targets are met and maintained.

 

Daily duties will include: 

  • Supporting the Production Manager with day to day running of the production facility including staff management and supervision, planning of production tasks, stock ordering and ensuring housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
  • Assisting the Production Manager to review & plan current workload and allocating labour efficiently to ensure delivery times and production targets are met and costs are maintained.
  • Ensure the team are working in line with current ISO Standards
    Ensuring product quality in line with company specifications
  • Managing KPI’s
  • Undertake hands on shop floor activities when required
  • Understanding Health and Safety requirements
  • You will come from a supervisory background and be a strong man manager capable of motivating the team to achieve outstanding results.

You will also:

  • Be familiar with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Have previously managed a production team and be able to delegate work effectively
  • Have a proven background in implementing change effectively
  • Be able to communicate and manage at all levels
  • Possess a full clean driving licence
  • Have basic IT literacy

Working hours – Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 16:30pm / Friday 7:30am – 13:30pm

Salary: TBC depending on experience

Role: Marketing Manager      Location: Leeds     Contact: HR

 

Due to unprecedented growth, Herida are looking to recruit a full time, experienced, autonomous Marketing Manager, working daily from our Leeds based Head Quarters. Remuneration will be subject to experience and capability, however a base salary of OTE £25-30K as a guide, plus expenses will be paid.

As Herida’s Marketing Manager you will have prior experience of managing a department or have moved up from marketing executive or similar administrative levels. You will be expected to manage a budget and must be numerate, help set the marketing style and direction for the company, in line with its latest business and marketing objectives. Experience within the healthcare sector is preferred but not deemed essential.

You’ll be developing marketing strategies with your colleagues, including the very latest e marketing approaches and web profile, whilst directing your department accordingly. It is down to you as marketing manager to perfectly match your company’s business with our valued customers and end users needs in the most professional and affordable ways possible.

To do this you’ll need to communicate messages and information using a variety of modern (and proven methods) to promote whatever products or services are on offer.

Reporting directly to the MD, together you will develop the needs of a growing company in many countries and will be provide with an appropriate budget to succeed in all areas.

  • Finding new prospects, following up on business opportunities and setting meetings with NHS,CES, Dealers, Private sector and that of nursing and residential settings (or partners).
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations (powerpoint etc) but mainly product demo’s
  • Introducing new product developments to prospective clients
  • Supervising the creation of sales incentives / ideas for customers with your line Managers
  • Writing some reports – CRM, sales forecasting and diaries are expected to be completed daily and on a weekly basis.
